Foyrka

In an area nestled in a pine forest, Fourka and Fourka Beach are among the most famous tourist destinations of Kassandra, Halkidiki, and is only 90 km away from Thessaloniki. It was founded in the 16th century and as a settlement is distinguished in the traditional village (Fourka) and in the seaside settlement (Skala Fourkas). The two settlements are a mere 3.0 km apart.

The rapid development of the area in recent years has made Skala Fourkas a popular destination for families. The natural beauty, the golden sand and the crystal-clear waters of the beach allow you to enjoy a quiet and idyllic stay.

For those who enjoy the Greek lore and traditions, Skala Fourkas is a perfect area that allows you to visit the festival of Agia Marina, which the largest festival on the Kassandra peninsula in memory of  Saint Marina, and is organized every year on July 16th, or the famous festival Agios Mamas which takes place every year at the beginning of September, in memory of Saint Mamas, which is celebrated on September 2nd , the first of which took place in 1870. These festivals are a wonderful opportunity to experience a traditional celebration with Greek music, dance and food.
